Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CareerNova ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. User Roles & Responsibilities

  • Students: May take exams, view results, and track progress. Must not attempt to cheat or manipulate exam outcomes.
  • Teachers: May create MCQs, manage classes, assign exams, and view student analytics. Teachers are responsible for the accuracy of content they create.
  • Parents: May monitor their linked children's performance and progress.
  • Administrators: Manage platform settings, users, content moderation, and institutional configuration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access another user's account without authorization
  • Upload malicious content or disrupt platform operations
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without written consent

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its code, design, and content (excluding user-generated MCQs), is owned by CareerNova and Shahjee Baba Academy. User-generated content remains the property of the creator, with a license granted to CareerNova to display and distribute it within the Platform.

6. Subscription & Payments

Premium plans are billed on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis as selected. Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

CareerNova is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.
